Starlite Motor Lodge

We love these old-school motels where you drive right up to your door! The hosts are excellent, friendly and accommodating even shifting furniture between rooms so I'd have a larger desk space. This property is very neat, clean, and quiet. It's older though and has some rustic maintenance repairs. If you're looking for perfection, look elsewhere. Rates are very good making a stay here an excellent value!

Stayed here on 9/24/2013, at a rate of $35 + tax, (about $38). This is the third time I've stayed there, and each time I stayed as a single in a non-smoking room. All three rooms were clean and did not have bed bugs as one reviewer stated. I seriously doubt if there were really bed bugs in the room because bed bugs are fairly large and can be easily seen, and I've not seen them in the three rooms I've had over the last 1-1/2 years. The bed was very comfortable, and as comfortable as my Tempurpedic at home. I slept very well and was well-rested in the morning. It's true that the towels and wash cloths are a bit thin, but they were clean and worked well. The room I had this time was equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave as well as a very nice TV. In six months I will be returning to Wichita, and will be staying at this very nice motor lodge again.

I was traveling through Wichita and needed a place to rest before I got back on the road. I looked up cheap and reasonable rooms to accommodate me for a few four hours of sleep and I found this place. To my surprise the appliances and room were very clean and cozy considering it’s an older motel and the staff which is father and son were very friendly and helpful

I've stayed at this hotel numerous nights, every time the staff is wonderful no matter if I get there early or late. Lost my bank card called them the next day and they had it in the office, that should tell you how honest the staff is. Rooms are very nice and clean I would highly recommend this place either for a family or for individual.

I have been here at the Starlight For about a month now, and I am very satisfied with the staff . They have all been very good to me. Even It is an old hotel You can tell that they take pride in there business. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
